Welcome to Half Moon Lake Resort
We are pleased to advise that on April 4, 2012 the Resort was granted its Water Diversion License, its Waterworks System Approval, and its Wastewater Treatment System Approval by Alberta Environment and Water (AEW). Subject to completion of the water and wastewater system upgrades and inspection requirements, the Resort will be open for the 2012 Season.
Unfortunately we have not yet completed the installation of the Resort’s permanent water and wastewater systems. Therefore we were unable to coordinate the Alberta Health Services (AHS) and AEW inspections required prior to opening so the Resort will not be open for the May long weekend.
Half Moon Lake Resort continues to work cooperatively with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Environment and Water. We anticipate opening the Resort in the next few days.
